travel company established in 1998 and is operating under
Vietnam’s laws. The company’s business license
No:0102001617/KHDT was issued by Hanoi City’s department
of planning and investment in 1998. After over ten years operating,
the company has achieved fast development and gained trust
and good reputation among travelers coming to visit Vietnam
from many countries. With a national wide net work including
the head quarter and sales office in Hanoi, two regional operation
offices in Danang at the central coast and in Ho Chi Minh
City, representatives in most of the important tourist center:

vacation to Sapa. Below are brief information of some of our
members back ground:
1 – Phung – Our
team chief
Born in 1961 and brought up in the war time, graduate of Hanoi
Institute of foreign languages in early 1980. to be a teachers
and moving a lot from remote villages in deep Mekong Delta
to ethnic minority villages in the Central Highland. Start
his career in tourism in 1992 he experienced some different
works of the industry such as hotel receptionist, hotel manager,
tour guide and tour operator. In 1996 he decided to settle
in Sapa and open a private class to train dozens of Sapa local
youngsters of English & tourism knowledge and later Joined
the famous Auberge Company until 2001 as chief operator and
tour guide. With all his experiences and great passion to
Sapa, Phung joined Explorers Tours Vietnam and now become
the chief of our www.sapa-vietnam.com team.
2 – Minh Nguyen –
Planner
Graduate of Hanoi university of foreign trade, self training
of informatics, 36 years old Minh Nguyen started working in
tourism industry from 1994 and is the brain of our team. He
built up our working plan, design our website and insure smooth
communication between our team and clients. With his large
knowledge and experience he is also a very good tour consultant
in our team.
3 – Xuan Nguyen – Tour consultant, designer
and operator
After graduating at Hanoi university of laws, instead of becoming
a lawyer Xuan Nguyen decided to work as cycling and motor
biking tour guide for his love of adventure. After 12 years
on the road to most of the corners of Vietnam, He decided
to slow down by joining www.sapa-com team with sales and operation
work. It is sure that his experiences gained after many trips
to the Northwest and Sapa will be very useful in helping visitors
to travel to Sapa and the Northwest. In a nice day He may
escape away from the office for another adventure in the mountain.
4
– Cuong H’mong – Our sapa representative
Born and brought up in Sapa town, young, dynamic and full
of energy, Giang escaped away from the bright future built
up by his parents who used to be local government officials.
He joined the Auberge Team with Phung from 1999 and guided
hundreds of trekking groups to tribal villages and conquer
Fansipan Summit. His is nicknamed “H’mong guide”
for his ability to speak some local dialects of the H’mong,
Zao and of course never refuse any invitation from ethnic
locals for drink!
Now He is a VIP, representing our company, leading our Sapa
tour guides and running all our tours to Sapa and Lao Cai.
